The following is provided to assist you in obtaining a business license in the Town of Pahrump.
Anyone who completes a service, sells something, or accepts money for a group (churches, non-profits, etc.) are required to have a business license.
You can download a Pahrump Business License at the bottom of this page, or you can stop by the Town Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday:

Do not sign any Business License applications unless you are in the presence of a qualified Town of Pahrump Representative or Licensed Notary. If the documents are signed elsewhere, they will require notarization before submitting to the town office.
A Seller Permit is required any time you or someone else is selling a product from land that is not legally yours. Every owner or an authorized representative must sign off on the seller permit and they are good for that location for 30 days. They are five ($ 5) dollars per 30 days and cover up to 5 different locations. This permit can be revoke at any time upon request by the Property Owner.
The Town of Pahrump charges business license fees based on business ownership type and location per Resolution 2012-01. Each license is valid for one year from the date of issue and are subject to renewal each year on the anniversary date.
The fees are as follows:
Any business with a physical address outside of the Town of Pahrump - $150
Sole Proprietor with a physical address within the Town of Pahrump - $50
Partnership with a physical address within the Town of Pahrump - $60
LLC or Corporation with a physical address within the Town of Pahrump - $75
Non-Profit Organization with a physical address within the Town of Pahrump - $5
LLC or Corporation with a physical address within the Town of Pahrump with 100+ employees- $100
*A fee of $5.00 is required for replacement of your Business License or to reprint a license when a physical or mailing address change is made.
An exempt license does not require a fee but must meet all other State, County and Town requirements.
